Anethum graveolens

USDA organic. This strong growing variety’s feathery leaves enhance summer veggies, fresh salads and adds savor to soups. Add finely chopped at the end of cooking or just before serving. This is also a good variety for making pickles.

Gardener’s Notes: Sow in a sunny spot with good drainage in spring – early fall in warm climates or, in cold climates, in spring when ground can be worked. Can also be started indoors 2-3 weeks before planting outdoors. Make successive sowings for continuous supply. Scatter seed thinly, press seeds into top of soil and cover lightly. Thin established seedlings 4 in. apart. Harvest ferny leaves as needed.
