Notable Wildlife Interactions: Flowers attract mainly bees, but also flies and beetles. Hosts moths including the gordian sphinx, and other beetles, leafhoppers, and small insects. Notes:Forms rhizomes and may runner to form a colony. Should be pruned in late winter or early spring. Plants tolerate well drained, wet soils, but tend to have fewer issues with fungus in dry soils.
