GROWING INFO
- Hardiness: Zone 10+ (30F). Protect from frost and heavy rain
- Where to Grow: We recommend keeping cuttings potted, indoors, and on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. Once established, they can be transitioned outdoors into partial or full sun
- Containers:Use any kind of container, but drainage holes are recommended
- Soil:Use gritty, well-draining soil to promote root growth and prevent rot, e.g. a cactus or succulent potting mix from your local garden center
- Water:Unplanted cuttings only need misting if they have produced fine, aerial roots. Planted cuttings should be kept lightly moist while they are rooting (2-4 weeks). Mature, rooted succulents need deep, infrequent drenchings in the spring and summer growing season if the soil is completely dry
- Longevity: Unplanted, cuttings can stay colorful and compact in arrangements for 1-3 months. They hold their colors and shapes longest during fall and winter or if they are kept in sunny areas. Once planted and established, they can grow happily for many years with proper care
